Jennifer H. Harrison
Office Manager/Legal Assistant
Jennifer has been with the firm since 2006. Prior to that she worked with a general practice law firm for 10 years as a legal assistant and in a physician’s office for 13 years handling health insurance coding/billing and medical records. She has an Associate in Applied Science in Business Administration from Blue Ridge Community College. Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, is a sports fan, and is active in her church.

Legal Assistant/Marketing Coordinator
Jenny received her Bachelor’s of Arts in Elementary Education from Mars Hill College in 1985. After several years of teaching school and operating a child care facility, Jenny is now the law office’s Marketing Coordinator and Legal Assistant to John C. Hensley, Jr. She has worked in this capacity since August of 2010.Jenny is married to John C. Hensley, Jr. and together they have two wonderful children, John, III who lives in Virginia and is a Project Manager with the Virginia Department of Transportation and Jordan who is finishing up her first year at Elon Law School in Greensboro, NC. Jenny enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking and playing trivia with friends and watching her UNC Tarheels play football and basketball.
Medical Malpractice Paralegal
Kip has worked as a Paralegal for 20 years handling medical malpractice litigation and catastrophic personal injury cases. She attended College of Charleston in South Carolina where she studied Political Science. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, tennis and exploring the mountains with her dog.
Riley began her career working as a traditional hospital Licensed Practical Nurse – med surgery, orthopedics, pediatrics, ICU and finally the operating room. She later graduated from Regents College of New York with an Associate in Science Liberal Arts [Registered Nurse Program]. After 25 years of nursing experience, Riley obtained an Associate Degree in Legal Assisting at Northern Virginia Community College and began working as a litigation paralegal for the Plaintiff. Riley is an active member in her church, a member of the CMA (Christian Motorcycle Association) and a respite volunteer with Hospice.
Clarissa completed her Bachelor of Arts from Mars Hill University. She received her degree in History with a concentration in Regional Studies. While at Mars Hill University she was a Bonner Scholar and worked in the AmeriCorp Vista program. Clarissa joined the firm in March of 2017. She enjoys reading, going to the gym and binge watching Netflix.
